All Of Me

Are you familiar with John Legend's song All Of Me?  I love how Mr. Legend has summed up a loving relationship with these lyrics. 

"Cause all of me, 

Loves all of you

Love your curves and all your edges

All your perfect imperfections..."

Yes!  Too many people get married believing a fairytale.  You know the fairytale... That this magically flawed person that you married will somehow become a Prince (or Princess) Charming and all of the things that got on your nerves before will disappear.  Or they believe that their Prince really is a prince (or princess) and put them so high on a pedestal that when they make a mistake, they are shocked to find out their spouse is really human.  We are human.  We are imperfect.  We make mistakes.  Loving relationships are defined by loving you in spite of your flaws.  Loving relationships are marked by forgiveness of mistakes   Loving relationships understand that you have to love ALL of a person.
